A UCLA Film School graduate, Ms. Salem double majored in Acting and Screenwriting, then moved to NYC to work with Mr. & Mrs. Martin Bregman. She founded FMA, for International Talent Representation, and represented great artists, such as Mr. Khaled Elsawy, Mr.s Eyad Nassar, Mr. Vincent Vieluf, Ms. Doaa Erieqat, and Mr. Omar Kamel. Among her literary works, she has written a film entitled Masks of Sanity, about Cluster B Personality Disorders, and spent 12 years researching human behaviour, visiting prisons, and Mental Institutions in the US and Europe, and located real life criminals on the loose.
She shot a 7-minute teaser with the help of highly talented industry friends, such as Mr. Mohamed Gaafar, Ms. Doaa Erieqat, Mr. Khalid Khalil, Mr. Asser El Badrawy, Mr. Ahmed Manawishi and Mr. Mohamed Maher.
In 2015, Ms. Salem has decided to move on from the represenation business, and focus her energy on her true passion, namely, writing books and screenplays, as well as coaching Actors and Writers..
Her new agency, Involution Films and Productions, focuses on the conscious artist, and will provide a platform to create meaningful projects for Cinema and TV, while being able to work creatively with her ensemble of actors and film crew.
She was published in NYC, as she wrote about international fine artists, as well as
politics post the Egyptian Revolution, and was published three times in Digital Americana Magazine (DAM).
She has created her own acting methods, and experimented with her own psychological
theories, and pushed her own boundaries through experimenting with her own consciousness to have deeper access into the human psyche.
